Lewis County General Hospital and Health System
With over 100 professional health care providers in various specialties and 650 employees, Lewis County General Hospital and Health System offers a variety of inpatient and outpatient care services and a 24-hour physician staffed emergency department to meet the health needs of over 30,000 county residents and seasonal visitors. The system includes a 25-bed critical access hospital, 160-bed nursing home, four specialty centers(surgery, orthopedics, women’s health and dermatology), internal medicine, extended hours, family practice clinics, hospice and home health located on the main campus in Lowville. Community-based health centers are located in Beaver Falls, Copenhagen, Harrisville, and Lyons Falls.
