Martinsburg Day

Every year, on the second Saturday in August, the Martinsburg Historical Soceity hosts Martinsburg Day to spotlight, share and celebrate the history of Martinsburg NY.

Martinsburg Day is August 14th from 10am-3pm.

Crafters are encouraged to set up on the side and back lawns of the William H Bush Memorial Library. Local residents this would be a good time to have your rummage sale!

The Martinsburg Volunteer Fire Department will be serving a chicken BBQ with dinners starting at 11am.

Baked goods will also be fore sale in the fire hall. (If anyone local would like to donate some baked goods, it would be greatly appreciated – contact the Martinsburg Historical Society for more information.)

An antique and classic car and tractor cruise-in will be held in the library parking lot. A parade of cars and trucks will begin at 1pm.

Fast food will be available all day at the historic Town Hall along with a what not sale, silent auction, and a dime toss.

CAPO3 will provide musical entertainment on the front lawn of the library.
