Beginning Beekeepers Forum

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County will host a Beginning Beekeepers Forum starting January 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at 203 North Hamilton St., Watertown.

The series will include monthly educational programs for beginning beekeepers along with hands-on field trips.  Through July, all programs will take place on the third Wednesday of the month starting at 6:30pm.

Join with local experts to learn about bee biology, equipment, hive management, and pest control.  The program fee of $25 for all programs includes a copy of The Beekeepers Handbook which will be used as a textbook.
