Beaver Camp’s Ice Fishing Derby is a family classic.
There’s plenty of winter fun for everyone! Unlike most derbies that are highly competetive, ours is planned with kids and families in mind. Thanks to many local businesses, there are prizes for every child, whether or not they catch a fish. Our pavilion is located near the lakeshore, allowing you to warm up , grab a hot cup of coffee or cocoa and still keep an eye on your tip-ups.
Every dollar raised at the Fishing Derby goes to our Campership Fund. So come enjoy a day of great family fun while supporting Beaver Camp’s summer program!

Bring your own equipment or use Beaver Camps’ (supply and sizes are limited). Advance registration not required. Get ready for a fun adventure through the Adirondacks!

Snow Ridge Ski Resort is an absolute North Country Classic, and is a lot closer to Syracuse, Utica, Watertown, Albany and Binghamton than you think! This race is sure to become an instant classic.
Expect a VERY well marked and challenging mixed surface XC course with groomers, single-track, and chockablock full of twists, turns, rolls and punches…and enough elevation to keep us all honest.
The Dual Slalom course will be well-groomed and responsibly featured…it’s going to be a total barn burner of a race and likely a spectacle for the ages.
