Adirondacks Tug Hill

Snowmobiling

With its incredible amount of snowfall per year (more than 200 inches annually, to be exact), Tug Hill is the perfect place to hit the trails on your snowmobile. Our local clubs and organizations are always actively grooming the trails to ensure a safe and smooth ride for everyone. The northern side of Lewis County is more suited for quiet rides. Even though it is virtually undiscovered by the masses, there are a variety of lodging options and restaurants located on or near the trails. Lewis County is your gateway to other trails in New York and Canada: connect to Oswego, Plattsburgh, Old Forge, Tupper Lake, Saranac Lake, and the Champlain Valley to name a few.
